NOTICE:  THIS IS A SOLICITATION FOR PROPOSAL 

Attention: Realtor/Brokers 

It is the intent of the Gulf Harbour Marina Condominium Association, Inc. to select one (1) Realtor/Broker to list and sell boat slips in Gulf Harbour Marina in its Preferred Realtor Program.  While the Association recognizes that any slip owner can list/sell with any realtor/broker, it is the intent of the Association to support one Realtor/Broker who meets or exceeds the following minimum requirements 

  • Realtor/Broker provide listing at a rate beneficial to slip owner 

  • Realtor/Broker pay fee per sales transaction to Association for marketing support, Kiosk space, slip availability, web link, etc. *

  • Realtor/Broker must have local office (Lee County) and be a member of Sunshine MLS 

  • Realtor/Broker must provide plan to the Association to market slips in U.S. and Int’l markets 

Any Realtor/Broker wishing to submit a proposal addressing these minimum requirements must do so, in writing, no later than close of business on September 30, 2005. 

The Marina Board of Directors will make its reasonable best efforts to announce the Preferred Realtor by October 15, 2005; however the Marina Board of Directors reserves the right to ask the top 3-5 submissions for a “best & final”, or require face to face interviews. 

The decision to initiate the Preferred Realtor program and the selection of the Realtor/Broker shall be at the sole discretion of the Marina Board of Directors.

In an effort to further clarify our preferred realtor/broker program, the minimum requirements as outlined in our solicitation for proposal;  Bullet Point #2 communicated we desired to have a fee for each sales transaction coming directly to the Gulf Harbour Marina Condominium Association for our marketing support.  After giving further thought on how the Gulf Harbour Marina Condominium Association desires to be compensated for our marketing support, we are requesting an annual fee to be paid on a quarterly basis to the Gulf Harbour Marina Condominium Associations.  This fee would be compensation for supporting your marketing program along with any other requirements your business plan places upon our facility and employees.
